NBA Playoffs May 11 Update

Bucks vs. Celtics Game 5

110-107 Bucks

Series 3-2 Bucks

In one of the most insane playoff games of the year, the Bucks manage to make a miraculous comeback and beat the Celtics in Boston to take the lead in the series. After watching the game only one thing needs to be said: Giannis is a beast. This dude is a freak of nature and a true champion. For those that missed the game, his final few minutes were incredible. After bei9ng down as much as 14 in the 4th quarter, the Bucks managed to get the game back within 6. Then after a crazy turn of events Giannis manages to drain a 3 to get the game within 3. We then see him bleeding right above his eye, but it somehow did not seem to affect him. He then had to make two free throws to tie the game. Giannis made the first but missed the second, but Bobby Portis managed to get the offensive rebound and score which gave the Bucks the lead. They ended up closing out the game with a win after two great defensive plays from Jrue Holiday.  The Bucks played Championship basketball. They found a way to win the game even though it looked like they were dead in the water. The Celtics have a long round ahead of them because now they have to play the Bucks in Milwaukee in a must win game.

Warriors vs Grizzlies Game 5

95-134 Grizzlies

Series 3-2 Warriors

The Grizzlies might be the deepest team left in the playoffs. Even with their best player being out, they managed to smack the Warriors in an elimination game. This is no new thing too as the Grizzlies were 20-2 without Ja this season. I am not one of those people that thinks the Grizzlies are better without Ja, however I think it is pretty easy to argue that they are not that much worse. However, they still need to win the next game which is at Golden State. This will be their toughest game in the entire playoffs, and I think that it will be a very close one. I think the Grizzlies only have a shot if they stay calm and play their style of basketball. They need to make sure that the crowd does not get in their heads. On the Warriors side this series is important, not just for advancing but also for legacy. If they lose this series, it will be held against them forever.  There is no real reason why they should not be able to win, especially since they were up 3-1 at one point.
