Bulls vs Bucks Game 5
100-116 Bucks
Series 4-1 Bucks
The Bucks close out their first round series by completely dominating the Bulls in rebounding and points in the paint. The Bucks will now have to face the Boston Celtics in the conference semi-finals, a team that looks hot and ready to go. The key to this next series will of course be Giannis. The Celtics defense was rated #1 overall this year and that was no fluke as they pretty much bullied Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving all last series, making the superstars look like super bums. However, the Greek Freak is a different beast entirely as he has a completely different play style from those other guys. He is nearly impossible to guard and can do whatever he wants on the court. This series will come down to who wins: the immovable object or the unstoppable force. If I had to personally pick, I would say that the unstoppable force is going to win this battle because I think that Giannis is too good. The Bulls had their ups and downs this year but really their main issue was that they just could not beat the good teams. They built up their record beating teams that they were supposed to beat, but when it came to facing contenders, they always crumbled. I do see a bright future for them though because this is the first year that this squad was assembled, and they did pretty good all tings considered. I believe if they add a good three-point threat and maybe beef up the defense just a little bit, then this team has a shot at beating anybody. The question is whether or not they can keep it together all year and whether or not they can find the drive to win big games.

Warriors vs Nuggets Game 5
98-102 Warriors
Series 4-1 Warriors
The Golden State Warriors will advance to the second round of the playoffs after an incredible comeback in last night’s game. The Warriors showed their resilience and showed why they are a true contender. As of right now, they are probably the best team in the west especially because of Devin Bookers injury. Even though the stars on the Warriors did not play much together all season due to injury, they are still working as fluidly as ever and look like they want another title. The Denver Nuggets did not really have a chance at winning this series once Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. were ruled out for the series. However, they did far better than anyone expected and really had a surge at the end there almost winning two games in a row. This team has been on the cusp of being an elite team for a few years now, but they just cannot seem to figure it out. If they have an early playoff exit again next year, then I would not be surprised if they broke apart this team and tried to build it more around Jokic. He is a great player that I believe is definitely good enough to be the best player on a championship winning team.
